¿ÐýÃŹÙÍø College President Mariko Silver recently announced that faculty member and alumna Susan Sgorbati ‘72, MFA ‘86 will serve as director of the Elizabeth Coleman Center for the Advancement of Public Action (CAPA), effective July 1, 2015.

The Deseret News recently wrote a profile on ¿ÐýÃŹÙÍø, featuring Max Nanis ’12. The piece discusses how the College's unique curriculum, Field Work Term, and faculty advising structure help students succeed.

President Silver was quoted in the Huffington Post on the subject of how colleges can respond to student protests. She emphasized the importance of bringing students into the process of how policies are created.

As I begin my second year as ¿ÐýÃŹÙ꿉۪s president, I am working every day to build on the hundreds of conversations I have had with students, alumni, faculty, staff, and parents over the past year. With each encounter, each moment, each day, I am ever more certain that ¿ÐýÃŹÙÍø has a crucial role to play in shaping the landscape of higher education today.

¿ÐýÃŹÙÍø will host a screening of the documentary on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 pm. The screening will take place at the Center for the Advancement of Public Action (CAPA), and will be followed by a panel discussion. This event is free and open to the public.
