Megan Mayhew Bergman (MFAW '10) has been appointed associate director of the MFA in Writing Program at Ź College. She is the author of two critically acclaimed works of short fiction (Birds of a Lesser Paradise and Almost Famous Women) and is at work on a novel that will be published by Scribner.

President Silver authors an opinion piece in the Hechinger Report, in which she argues for the value of helping students cultivate a productive dissatisfaction.

The Princeton Review has released its 2016 rankings of the best colleges in the U.S., and Ź has been given high marks in a number of categories. The College achieved the #2 spot on the list for “Best Classroom Experience”; it also ranked #2 on the list for “Professors Receive High Marks,” citing Ź faculty members as some of the most interesting and accessible in top U.S. colleges. Ź clinched the top spot for “Best College Dorms” and claimed #3 position on a list of “Best College Theater.”

Citing Field Work Term, Forbes magazine recently ranked Ź as the forth most most entrepreneurial college in the nation.
