Marguerite Feitlowitz was interviewed by Andrew Graham-Yooll in ��á�����Բ�12&�Բ�����;as an expert on the subject of the language of dictatorship on how she came to focus her work on Argentina’s history.

The winning plays from Dorset Theatre Festival’s Jean E. Miller Young Playwrights Competition, which is supported by �����Ź��� College faculty, students, and alumni, will be performed on Wednesday, September 28, 6:30 p.m., at the Manchester Community Library. 

Anthropology faculty member Miroslava Prazak published a new book on female genital cutting, Making the Mark: Gender, Identity, and Genital Cutting, in which she weaves together a rich mosaic of the voices contributing to the debate over this life-altering ritual.

Benjamin Anastas’ review of Javier Marías’ Thus Bad Begins, “a novel of espionage and betrayal in post-Franco Spain” was published on Bookforum this month. Anastas writes, “the author is a listener in the aisles of a vast global library, and he can hear the great books whispering.”

Dina Janis and Kirk Jackson were awarded grants from the Vermont Arts Endowment Fund for their upcoming work on a Dorset Theatre production and a one-man-show, respectively.
