With the release of a new biography by Ruth Franklin, Shirley Jackson: A Rather Haunted Life, Jackson's life as a writer, mother, and faculty wife in North �����Ź��� has received further attention. 

Yoko Inoue's class addresses issues of hunger in the town of �����Ź��� through public action, and fosters a new environment in which community between residents and students can develop. 

�����Ź��� staff, faculty, and students gathered in Greenwall Auditorium yesterday to welcome the class of 2020 to the College with musical performances, speeches, and faculty on stilts. 

The Princeton Review released its ranking for the top 381 colleges in America, and �����Ź��� scored big in several categories. �����Ź��� was also selected to appear in Princeton's 2017 Best Northeastern Colleges List, which includes the schools that it considers "academically outstanding and well worth consideration in your college search," as well as in their "Green Schools" list.

Following about �����Ź���’s Prison Education Initiative (PEI), the Glens Falls Post-Star published calling the program “a model for inmate education.” The editorial cited US incarceration rates and argued “We cannot afford to write off that many people.”
