Megan Mayhew Bergman Mayhew Bergman Appointed Associate Director of the MFA in Writing Program

Megan Mayhew Bergman (MFAW '10) has been appointed associate director of the MFA in Writing Program at ¿­ÐýÃŹÙÍø College. She is the author of two critically acclaimed works of short fiction (Birds of a Lesser Paradise and Almost Famous Women) and is at work on a novel that will be published by Scribner.

Safiya Sinclair '10 has been awarded the 2015 Prairie Schooner Book Prize in Poetry, given by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, for her manuscript, Cannibal. Sinclair is currently pursuing a PhD in literature and creative writing at the University of Southern California, where she is a Dornsife Doctoral Fellow.
