Jacob Nirgo's exhibitions in Paris Nigro ’16 in Paris E-Art Exhibition

Jonah Nigro '16 is one of a group of international artists whose work will be displayed on digital screens around Paris for the first Parisian exhibition of animated GIFs. The exhibition, organized by Balibart Gallery, will run through June 10. An article on the exhibition states that Nigro is considered among the best digital illustrators in the world.

Fulbright Buckwalter MFA '02 Awarded Fulbright

Melinda Buckwalter MFAD '02 was as part of their Student Program. The scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate "rigor in scholarly enquiry and academic or professional excellence." Through Fulbright, she will be pursuing a Master's Degree in Dance Anthropology from the University of Roehampton in London.

Summer Brennan '01 won NYU's second annual Matthew Power Literary Reporting Award. Brennan's first book was The Oyster War: The True Story of a Small Farm, Big Politics, and the Future of Wilderness in America. She has written for New York Magazine, Scientific American, Pacific Standard, McSweeneys, The Millions, The Rumpus, and others.
