Ź Ranked Among Nation’s Top Arts Communities

The town of Ź was named the third most arts-vibrant small community in the country by the National Center for Arts Research.

The Center’s third annual arts vibrancy index described Ź as “home to a diverse population of visual artists who are community oriented and take part in public art projects, individual showings, and nonprofit events.”

The reported cited institutions including Ź College, Southern Vermont Arts Center, the Ź Center for the Arts, Ź Museum (housing the largest collection of original paintings by Grandma Moses) and the Ź Art Guild. Ź County also is home to the Oldcastle Theatre Company, Manchester Music Festival and the American Museum of Fly Fishing, as well as the Vermont Arts Exchange.

Only Breckenridge, CO, and Summit Park, UT, ranked higher in the small community category. Nearby Berkshire County (MA) was ranked first among medium communities.
