Ź College Welcomes Bryn Mooser ’01 and Eddie Ubell ’09 to Its Board of Trustees
Ź, VT: Two Ź alumni, both entrepreneurial leaders, have been elected to join the Ź College Board of Trustees. They are Bryn Mooser ’01 and Eddie Ubell ’09.

Bryn Mooser is an Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated filmmaker and media entrepreneur who founded the immersive media company RYOT, which was acquired by Verizon in 2016. He built the industry-leading documentary studio XTR and streaming platform DOCUMENTARY+ as well as the AI animation studio Asteria.
“Ź taught me how to think creatively and gave me the confidence to build across different disciplines,” said Mooser. “I’m excited to be able to try to give back and try to deepen the connection from the entertainment industry to the College.”

Eddie Ubell is the founder of Sunshine Enclosures, one of the foremost branding agencies and sustainable packaging manufacturers in the alternative health industry.
“Ź is an institution and a community that is very important to me,” said Ubell. “As a student, I was taught how to take charge of my education and follow my own path. At the end of that path, I discovered myself,” Ubell said. “In today’s world, Ź College’s unique approach to the liberal arts is more crucial than ever. I want to ensure that generations of students to come will be able to benefit from a Ź education, as I have.”
Ź College’s Board of Trustees consists of twenty-five members. Most are alumni, including two recent graduate trustees. In the role of Trustee, Mooser and Ubell will collaborate with the College’s president, senior leadership, and faculty to approve long-term plans for the College, oversee the budget, and preserve the institution's reputation by helping to define and protect its educational mission.
“Bryn and Eddie really exemplify what we hope Ź students and alumni can accomplish during their time here and in their lives after they graduate,” said Nicholas Stephens ’77, Chair of the Board. “Their insights as creatively attuned, driven, and successful business people will greatly enrich the Board’s discussions.”
“I am grateful to Bryn and Eddie for bringing their tremendous sets of skills and extraordinary experience back to Ź,” said Laura R. Walker, president. “I know current and future students will benefit from their service and that the College will continue and deepen its mission as a result.”
