Another Major Literary Honor for Sinclair '10
Poet Safiya Sinclair '10 has been named a finalist for PEN Center USA’s 2017 Literary Awards.
One of four finalists in the poetry category, Sinclair was nominated for her 2016 collection, , which won the Prairie Schooner Book Prize, the Whiting Award, and the Metcalf Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts & Letters.
Winners will be announced at The 27th Annual Literary Awards Festival at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on October 27.
