Course Description

Summary

PODs offer students the opportunity to make connections through multiple access points, especially in areas of performance. PODs are designed to help students recognize the tools and methodologies used in their own creative work both as performers and as choreographers. Structurally each POD is identified by a unique topic. PODs have required rehearsal times and culminate in a public showing. The artist will create an original work with BFA students through an intensive research and rehearsal process. Meeting Dates/Times: Friday 3/7 07:00-08:50pm Saturday 3/8 10:30am-04:00pm Sunday 3/9 10:30am-04:00pm Monday 3/10 01:40-05:30pm Friday 3/21 07:00-08:50pm Saturday 3/22 10:30am-04:00pm Sunday 3/23 10:30am-04:00pm Friday 3/28 07:00-08:50pm Saturday 3/29 10:30am-04:00pm Sun 3/30 10:30am-04:00pm Continued Rehearsals: April 2 to May 28 on Wednesdays, 12:00-01:00pm POD intensive rehearsals will also take place on PLAN days and on weekends as needed; production and performance hours are also required.
