Course Description

Summary

Studies in all left-hand position and shifting and an exploration of various bow techniques. Students can select from the concerto, sonata suites repertoire, short pieces and etudes for study designed to develop technique, advance musicianship and prepare for performance. Students are expected to perform at Music workshop at least twice in the term as well as showcase at the end of term. Sessions will be set up with the instructor individually on Fridays.
