Course Description

Summary

This advanced seminar will focus on techniques of psychological test construction.  Issues of reliability and validity of psychological tests will be explored as we construct and validate “new” projective tests based upon traditional models. We will explore scoring systems from the standpoint of theoretical and empirical utility. This will be a hands-on workshop and students will be expected to develop their tests and use them in the real world. Familiarity with research design (measures of validity and reliability) would be helpful but not required.
