Course Description

Summary

This course is an advanced level of training in mediation and negotiation. Skills such as principled collaborative problem-solving, interest-based negotiation and impartiality are a part of the practice. Students will be asked to participate in role-play exercises, read a series of articles, and write a response paper and reflection essay. Based on attendance in the previous course, a certificate for a 24-hour training will be issued to each student who completes this course. This course will be offered Tuesday, March 24 - Friday, April 10.

Prerequisites

MOD2110 Mediation and Negotiation or The Art of Negotiation and Mediation seven week course.
