Course Description
Summary
General performance approach to trumpet playing, technique and style using Arnold Jacob’s method of Song and Wind, the Arban method, Clarke technique, and Schlossberg. More advanced work is done using the Charlier and Snedecor etudes. Jazz, Improvisation, etc. based on student interest. Students will prepare work to show at Music Workshop (Tues. 6:30 - 8:00 pm). At least one performance at Music Workshop is expected.
