Course Description

Summary

Webcasting radio and podcast are relatively new art forms that are transforming the way that people across the globe share ideas, music, and discourse.  This class focuses on the skills required to successfully communicate through live audio production. This will include discussions on how to: speak on a microphone, create a successful playlist, mix live from multiple audio sources, facilitate a call-in interview, write air-copy, analyze text to find breath-points and emphasis, and how to interview.  Each individual will work towards finding effective ways to communicate with the invisible audience, with a special focus on creating meaningful public action.  Much like a lab, students will be required to have their own weekly show on ¿ÐýÃŹÙÍø Radio (B-Rad)
