Course Description

Summary

In this class we’re going to learn the basics of one programming language each week for seven weeks. We’ll get our hands dirty by solving problems in each language and practice learning new languages quickly. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of different programming languages by looking at them side by side. Students will learn why they would use one language vs. another, and will leave the class with the ability to choose the language best suited to any given task. Experience programming in at least one programming language is required for this class.

Prerequisites

Experience with 1+ programming language.
