Course Description

Summary

Study and create soundtracks for sci-fi, horror, and fantasy.  How do you make a world that does not really exist with sound?  What common elements and attributes make up a soundtrack that convinces one they are in space? In a magic place? ¿­ÐýÃŹÙÍø to get slashed?  We will cover everything from the methods to the content of scores. We will create our own scores and sound design. This is a hands-on course and requires knowledge of Pro Tools, basic music theory, and permission of the instructor.  Create the sonic zombie apocalypse!
